Support in Optional Reporting

We are here for you if you choose to report. We are here for you if you choose not to report. Survivor Advocates can help navigate what options you have. Whether you choose to report or not, we will be with you every step of the way and can walk you through what these processes may look like. Advocates often support students who may be reporting to:

  • University
    • Office of Institutional Equity
  • Law Enforcement
  • Legal System
    • Filing an Order of Protection or Injunction Against Harassment
    • Civil Cases
    • Attorney General Office
  • Workplace
    • HR
    • Civil Rights Departments

Seek Then Speak is a tool for sexual assault survivors and support people.

  • In SEEK, you can privately gather information and explore your options for medical care, supportive services, and reporting to police.
  • If you choose, you can even begin the process of reporting to police by completing a self-guided interview in SPEAK.
