Reporting Options

Survivor Advocates let you take the lead when it comes to reporting. Our team is here to support survivor regardless of if they go through the reporting process. If you do choose to report, we can support you through all the steps. We can help navigate what options you have, walk you through what these processes may look like, and support throughout the process if you choose to move forward. Advocates often support students who may be making reports to:

Office of Institutional Equity

Dean of Students

Law Enforcement (UAPD or TPD)

Filing an Order of Protection or Injunction Against Harassment

Seek Then Speak is a tool for sexual assault survivors and support people which supports with information gathering, exploring options, and finding support services. The SPEAK portion of this app allows you to begin the process of reporting to police by completing a self-guided interview.

  • In SEEK, you can privately gather information and explore your options for medical care, supportive services, and reporting to police.
  • If you choose, you can even begin the process of reporting to police by completing a self-guided interview in SPEAK.
